4. Marketing

We only send marketing emails when the law allows it. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to stop at support@stalkwear.com. Order, shipping and support emails are not marketing and are still sent.

5. Cookies and tracking

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use:

  • Necessary cookies for the cart, checkout, login, currency and security. The store cannot work without them.
  • Analytics cookies to understand how visitors use the store, so we can improve it.
  • Advertising cookies and pixels (for example from Meta, Google or TikTok) to measure our ads and show you relevant offers.

Where required, analytics and advertising cookies are only set after you agree. You can change your choice or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking necessary cookies may stop the store from working properly.

6. Who we share your data with

We share personal data only when it is needed, and only with:

  • Payment providers such as card processors and PayPal, to take your payment securely.
  • Production and fulfilment partners who print, pack and ship your order.
  • Shipping carriers to deliver your parcel and send tracking updates.
  • Service providers for hosting, email, customer support, analytics and fraud prevention.
  • Advertising platforms, only with your consent where required.
  • Authorities, when the law requires it, or to protect our rights and prevent fraud.

Our partners may only use your data to provide their service to us and must keep it secure. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for money.

7. International transfers

Some of our partners process data outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom. When we transfer data, we make sure it is protected by appropriate safeguards, such as adequacy decisions or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

8. How long we keep your data

  • Orders and invoices: as long as tax and accounting laws require, usually 6 to 10 years.
  • Support messages: up to 3 years after our last contact, so we can handle follow-up questions and claims.
  • Account: until you ask us to delete it, or after 3 years without activity.
  • Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
  • Cookies: for the time set for each cookie, at most 13 months for analytics and advertising cookies.

9. How we protect your data

The whole store uses encrypted connections (HTTPS). Payments are processed by certified payment providers, so card details never reach our servers. Access to personal data is limited to the people and partners who need it, and we review our security measures regularly. No system is completely secure, but we work hard to protect your data and will inform you and the authorities of a breach when the law requires it.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you and get a copy of it.
  • Correct data that is wrong or incomplete.
  • Delete your data, unless we must keep it by law.
  • Restrict or object to how we use your data, including for direct marketing.
  • Receive your data in a portable format.
  • Withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting what was done before.
  • Opt out of targeted advertising and of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal data as defined by US state laws. We do not sell personal data.
  • Complain to your local data protection authority.

To use any of these rights, email support@stalkwear.com. We may need to confirm your identity first and will reply within one month. Using your rights is free, and we will never treat you differently for doing so.

11. Your choices

  • Cookies: change your cookie choice at any time, or block cookies in your browser.
  • Emails: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
  • Ads: manage ad personalisation in your Meta, Google or TikTok account settings.
  • Global Privacy Control: where the law requires it, we treat a GPC signal from your browser as a request to opt out of targeted advertising.

12. Automated decisions

Our payment providers use automated checks to prevent fraud. If a payment is declined because of such a check, you can contact us and a person will review your order. We do not make other decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you by automated means only.

13. Information for US residents

Depending on your state (for example California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia or Utah), you may have extra rights over your personal information. In the last 12 months we have collected these categories:

We do not sell personal information for money. Some advertising cookies may count as “sharing” for cross-context behavioural advertising under California law; you can opt out by declining advertising cookies or sending a Global Privacy Control signal. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of people under 16. You can ask to know, correct or delete your information, or appeal a decision we made about your request, by emailing support@stalkwear.com. An authorised agent can make a request for you with your written permission.

14. Information for the EEA and the UK

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the GDPR or UK GDPR applies. Section 3 lists the legal basis for each use of your data. You have the rights listed in section 10, and you can complain to the data protection authority in the country where you live or work, or where you think a breach took place.

15. Children

The store is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has given us their data, contact us and we will delete it.

16. Links to other websites

Our store may link to other websites, such as carriers or social media. Their own privacy policies apply there; we are not responsible for how they handle your data.

17. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The latest version is always on this page, and we will inform you of important changes.
